When you buy one of our foods, you directly help feed a child with malnutrition in Haiti. It's that easy. We’ve made the impact of your food purchase life changing. BuyOne|FeedOneTM is part of our holistic responsibilityTM approach to business.
How Does BuyOne|FeedOneTM work?
We work directly with some amazing, reputable non-profit organizations in the developing world working to stem and over time end malnutrition in young children. Currently, we directly purchase and distribute a RUTF (ready-to-use therpeutic food) made by our non-profit friends to children diagnosed with and suffering from malnutrition. Malnutrition is the lack of proper amounts of essential nutrients, often causing stunted growth, weakened immune system, slowed brain development, and in some cases death. The RUTFs we purchase and distribute are shown to provide the calories and macronutrients needed to stem malnutrition and return the child to a healthy state. For every unit of food that is sold, we purchase one RUTF.
